Zhivago stays local for its revamp

Zhivago has recently undergone renovations to its city centre store and it stayed local using only local companies in the facelift.

The well known business located in the middle of Shop Street now stocks the widest range of CDs and DVDs in the west, but for its recent renovations the store has ensured to support local businesses with shop fitting, lighting, electrics, floors, and signage, all carried out by highly skilled local companies.

As part of the refurbishment, a new designated ticket desk allows customers to receive information on ticket sales more efficiently than before. The main counter has also been moved to a more convenient location to maximise a pleasurable shopping experience.

The newest addition is a gift department at the rear of the shop which stocks a wide range of products from vintage bags and Cath Kidson style to gardening gifts. Another new inclusion to the shop is ‘Animaland’, a place to buy teddy bears, and a wide variety of outfits.

Music and film still account for 65 per cent of the city store. To celebrate the re-opening of the shop, Zhivago is holding a summer sale in all branches. For four days there will be a huge sale in toys, electrical gifts, CDs, and DVDs. All branches are open late on Thursday and Friday.
