J.E. Cairnes school honours KPMG Ireland prize winners

University of Galway – J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics hosted an event to recognise KPMG Ireland prize winners for 2020, 2021 and 2021. The prizes are awarded to BComm and BComm Accounting students for academic excellence and achievement.

Prizes include the KPMG Spark (Students Pursuing Accounting Recognised by KPMG ) awarded to students entering these programmes with the highest points in their Leaving Cert and also prizes for the top achieving students in each year of these programmes.

Speaking at the event Professor Alma McCarthy, Head of J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics said they are delighted to acknowledge these awards and the award winners.

“I congratulate the award winners for their excellent academic achievements. I want to thank Laurence May and KPMG for sponsoring these prizes and for KPMG’s continued support of the School and students,” she added.
