Renault Group in Ireland claims to have a good supply of Renault and Dacia cars and vans arriving ready for the 231-registration peak, and is maintaining pricing at current levels until the end of January 2023.

Dacia is also now offering a free two-year extended warranty on all models registered before January 31, 2023, and Renault 231 finance on the road offers are available on all new cars ordered or registered by March 31, 2023.

Dacia also claims its new Jogger seven-seater is available from €7.77 per day on the road, while the Renault Arkana, the second-best selling model in the overall Irish car market in October, is available for 231 from €259 per month.

Finishing in the number one position for the month of October, Renault Group achieved a combined market share of 17 per cent. The Renault brand finished in second position in the passenger car market and in the LCV/van market.

For 231, Renault says it will continue to offer flexibility on Renault PCP offers through its in-house bank Mobilize Financial Services, by making monthly payments more affordable for customers by providing flexibility on the term duration and GMFVs.

The company says there has been a positive uptake on the extended durations, with 50 per cent of all PCPs since June at durations higher than 36 months, with the majority of those at 39 months.

Renault says customers can get a new Clio from €199 per month on the road, and the range includes the Clio E-Tech full hybrid. For 231, the Captur, still a strong competitor in the B-SUV segment, will be available on the road from €255 per month for the Evolution TCe 90 model version. The Renault Zoe E-Tech 100 per cent electric evolution R110 will be available for 231 from €289 per month on the road.
