Galway United U19s were beaten 2-0 by Shamrock Rovers in the Enda McGuill Cup on Sunday.

David Tarmey and Aaron Neary went close for United in the second half, but a solid Rovers outfit eventually prevailed.

United's last group game in the competition is at home to UCD this weekend.

Martin Devlin's United U17s are away to Dundalk on Saturday afternoon, while the U15s are also in action at Oriel Park.

Despite two goals from the promising Emily Fitzgerald, Galway WFC U17s lost 3-2 away to Donegal with the U19s defeated by Bohemians.
