Brendan O’Connor’s Galway United U19s secured a valuable 4-2 away win over UCD on Sunday.

Gradi Lomboto, Ryan Nolan, Jordan Adeyemo, and David Tarmey all scored for United, who host Bray Wanderers this weekend.

With captain Ben Molloy included in the first team squad for Friday’s win over Bray at Eamonn Deacy Park it proved to be an encouraging few days for United’s U19 outfit.

James Lukau struck a hat-trick as Martin Devlin’s Galway United U17s enjoyed a fine 3-2 triumph over Sligo Rovers in the north west.

A home match against Finn Harps is next for United, who are enjoying a decent campaign at this level.

St Patrick’s Athletic proved too strong for Anthony O’Neill’s Galway United U15s as the Inchicore side prevailed 3-0. United U15s are at home to Athlone Town at the weekend.
