GoBus to connect West and Midlands with Dublin Airport

GoBus is a newly launched coach service between Galway and Dublin Airport which takes in Athlone as well.

The company offers 10 direct services to and from the airport on a daily basis. The service takes the M4 motorway and arrives to the airport via the M50 Toll Bridge, avoiding the hassle of Dublin city centre. The journey time is just over three hours and services major urban areas such as Loughrea, Ballinasloe and Athlone.

This service is operated by Jim Burke and Sons of Tuam. Jim has a vast knowledge of operating scheduled coach services having spent over 30 years in the bus business. GoBus in association with Veolia Transport Ireland, who operate the Luas Tram System in Dublin have come together to provide this direct service to Dublin Airport avoiding long delays which are often associated with travelling through Dublin city centre.

Now operating from the new five-star coach station on Fairgreen Rd in Galway, GoBus offers one of the quickest, most comfortable means to travel to Dublin Airport.

There are early morning departures from Galway with the first departure at 01:45, services continue right throughout the day with the last departure being 18.30. There are also late night departures from Dublin Airport with the last service departing at 23:30.

GoBus also offers great value fares with a single fare priced at €15 and a monthly return starting from €25, family fares are also available. The company also provides online booking at www.gobus.ie, where passengers can purchase their ticket in advance to guarantee their seat. All coaches are fitted with reclining seats, air conditioning and are maintained to the highest safety standards.
