Poetry and fiction at Over The Edge

Poets Aoife Cunningham and Anne Tannam, and fiction writer John Transier will read from their work

TWO POETS and a fiction writer will be the main readers at the next Over The Edge: Open Reading on Zoom on Thursday March 24 at 6.30pm.

Aoife Cunningham, John Transier, and Anne Tannam will be the readers, and Susan Millar DuMars will be the MC.

Anne Tannam is the author of three poetry collections, Take This Life (2011 ), Tides Shifting Across My Sitting Room Floor (2017 ), and Twenty-six Letters of a new Alphabet (2021 ). Anne’s work forms part of UCD’s Irish Poetry Reading Archive, and she has performed at Electric Picnic, Kosovo International Poetry Festival, and Berlin’s Craw Festival. See www.annetannampoetry.ie

Aoife Cunningham’s poetry has been published in the Galway Advertiser and Broadsheet.ie, among other publications. Her work documents her struggles with mental health and her subsequent recovery.

John Transier is a fiction writer based in Portland, Oregon, who has been shortlisted in many literary competitions. His influences are John Steinbeck, George MacDonald Fraser, and Patrick O’Brian.
