12 emerging comedians will battle it out in The King’s Head for the title

AFTER FOUR keenly contested heats, the final of the hugely popular comedy competition, Show Me The Funny, takes place on Monday March 7 at The King’s Head Bar..

There are spots up for grabs at some of the major festivals this year, with the top prize for the winner being a slot at the Electric Picnic Comedy Tent plus two VIP weekend tickets.

“There are a wide variety of voices and styles in the final,” says host and MC, Gerry Mallon, “and it's safe to say that the future of Irish Comedy is very bright indeed."

The finalists are Shrinidhi Kalwad, Rob Nother, James Cadden, John O’Keefe, Brian O’Toole, Tara Leeanne, Ciaran Franco, Jack Masterson, Luke McGibbon, Jack McKenna, Shannon Basso Gaul, Daniel Lukas, and Ian Burke.

Tickets cost €5 and are available at the door at 7.30pm and includes a free pint of Bulmers cider.
