Gardaí seek witnesses for burglaries in city and county

Burglaries took place in Ardrahan, Headford, and Flood Street in Galway city

Gardaí in Galway are seeking witness and information regarding a number of burglaries in Ardrahan, Headford, and Flood Street in Galway city.

On Friday November 12, between 9.30am and 10pm, a house at Cregclare, Ardrahan was broken into. During the course of the burglary a number of items of jewellery were stolen from the property. Gardaí are asking anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in the Ardrahan/Labane area on Friday November 12 or anyone with any information in relation to the stolen jewellery to contact them at Gort Garda Station on 091-636400.

Sometime between 5pm on Friday November 12, and 10am on Saturday November 13, an office was broken into on Flood Street and damage caused to the front of the property. During the course of the break in a silver HP laptop was taken from the property.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have any information in relation to this burglary or who may have been offered the silver HP laptop for sale to contact them at Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.

On Friday November 12 between 6pm and 8pm, a house at Cordarragh, Headford was broken into. During the course of the burglary a gold engagement ring and a gold wedding ring were stolen from the property. These rings holds a great deal of sentimental value to the owner.

Gardaí are appealing anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the Headford area on Friday evening or anyone with any information in relation to the stolen rings to contact them at Headford Garda Station on 093-35412.
