It was another busy weekend of action

An accomplished performance ensured Xavi Vazquez's promising Galway United U14 outfit defeated St Patrick's Athletic 4-0 in a league quarter-final at Eamonn Deacy Park.

At the penultimate stage United face Cobh Ramblers, who enjoyed a stirring 3-2 away success over Derry City.

Anthony O'Neill's United U15s delivered a gutsy display, but eventually lost 3-2 to St Patrick's Athletic in the capital on Sunday.

Brian Cunningham, brother of United first team player Padraic, and Tom Lydon scored for the visitors'.

Martin Devlin's United U17s proved too strong for Wexford at Ferrycarrig Park with David Tarmey (3 ), Mark O'Halloran, and Liam Murray mining goals.

Tarmey has now scored 12 since August for Devlin's rapidly improving squad, who are preparing for a Mark Farren Cup decider next month.
