O'Flaherty wants Ballyloughane beach toilets replaced

Councillor said she has been assured of funding, but still intends to 'pursue my demand'

Cllr Terry O’Flaherty wants the Galway City Council to provide funding in next year’s budget towards the replacement of the old toilets at Ballyloughane beach.

“Even though I have been assured that funding will be provided in the 2022 budget towards the toilets, I intend to keep pursuing my demand for the funding," Cllr O'Flaherty said.

“The toilets that are currently in place have been there for many years and need to be demolished and replaced with more modern ones, with up-to-date facilities. Myself and other councillors have been calling for new toilets for some time now, to cater for the many local families and tourists who enjoy using the beach area for swimming and walking."
