Holiday home auction to take place online on July 15

IAM Sold Property Auctions, which runs The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Northern Ireland Property Auctions, will hold its national holiday home auction on July 15. This specialised event will offer holidays homes from around the country and will be held online via the company’s dedicated holiday home website www.holidayhomepropertyauction.ie The auction team are now inviting anyone looking to purchase or sell a holiday home in Ireland to contact them. The auction will offer a mix of houses and apartments in coastal areas, rural cottages, and high-end properties in scenic locations.

Company director Patrick Folan said: “The annual holiday home property auction event is normally held at an event in Dublin but this year we have moved it completely online. This will accommodate buyers regardless of location in Ireland or abroad and is the ideal platform with the current travel restrictions in place. The holiday home property auction will offer buyers the opportunity to view and purchase a wide range of holiday homes throughout the country. There will be a particular focus on coastal areas and also properties that include small parcels of adjoining land. Anyone looking to buy or sell a holiday home property this summer should make contact with us and we will advise from there. There is no cost for the homeowner to enter a property into the auction and each property will receive excellent exposure across Ireland and the UK, in both national press and online marketing streams. We are the largest auction house in the UK also and we are seeing a lot of inquiries coming from the UK again in recent weeks. We already have a large volume of buyers coming into the market looking for their perfect get-away or indeed retirement home and the holiday home auction is an excellent route to target this market.”

With large numbers now planning to holiday in Ireland, the auction team are confident that this event will attract buyers from across the island of Ireland, as well as the UK and further afield. There will be additional advertising aimed at the UK market via property websites including www.rightmove.co.uk and the auction team have said they will also be running special newspaper adverts across Ireland and the UK.

The holiday home auction has had a huge success rate for IAM Sold Property Auctions over the past few years with a large turnout of buyers and the team are confident that the trend with continue this year.

In addition to this holiday home auction on July 15, the company is taking entries for its regional auctions across Connacht, Munster, Leinster, and Northern Ireland, which are held frequently throughout the year.
