Council to re-issue list of services and benefits available for local businesses

Local Enterprise Office is has played "important role" helping a number of businesses during Covid

The Galway City Council will re-issue the list of services and benefits that are currently available for businesses.

Brendan McGrath, Galway City Council chief executive, praised the work being carried out by the Local Enterprise Office.

The LEO office in Galway is one of 31 across the local authority network in the country assisting those in the early stages of setting up a business.

During last Monday's online Galway City Council meeting, Cllr Niall McNelis asked for a list that could be forwarded to businesses.

Mr McGrath said: "We will re-issue the list of services and benefits that are there. The LEO office is a joint service and has played a really important role, helping a number of businesses pivot during the Covid period."
