Couple sought in Moycullen angle grinder raid

At around 2pm on Tuesday April 6 an angle grinder along with a quantity of electrical cable was stolen from an industrial unit in the Enterprise Centre, Moycullen.

A male and female were seen in the area around the industrial unit at the time of the burglary and subsequently left the area in a blue coloured Ford C-Max.

Anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the area around the Enterprise Centre at around 2pm or who may have any information in relation to this break in is asked to contact Moycullen Garda Station on 091-555122.

Between 11am on Thursday April 8 and 6.15pm on Saturday April 10 a house at Ballyshrule, Ballinasloe was broken into and damage caused to the property.

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident or may have seen anything unusual in the Ballyshrule area between Thursday morning and Saturday morning to contact them on 09096-31890.

Punto pair sought after Newcastle theft

On Friday April 9 gardaí in Galway received a report of a sum of money stolen from a property in Camillaun Park, Newcastle.

Two males were seen in the area around the property at the time of the theft. The first male is described as middle aged with fair hair, wearing jeans, a dark navy jumper and a white shirt.

The second male is described as also being middle aged, wearing a white baseball cap, dark coloured jumper and pants with wellingtons or work boots. These two males left the area in a blue coloured Fiat Punto with a large ladder attached to roof racks on the vehicle.

Gardaí are very anxious to speak with these two men and are asking anyone who may have been in the Westside area on Friday April 9 and who may have seen either of the two males described or anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

Four tyres slashed in city damage incident

Sometime between 5.30pm on Saturday April 10 and 8am on Sunday April 11 all four tyres of a silver Opel Corsa were slashed while parked outside a house at Droin Caoin, Bishop O’Donnell Road.

Gardaí are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything in Droim Caoin on Saturday night/Sunday morning or anyone that may have any information in relation to the damage caused to this silver Opel Corsa to contact Salthill Garda Station on 091- 514720.

At around midday on Wednesday April 7 the front and side windows of a house at Creggaun, Ballinasloe were damaged.

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have seen anything that could help their investigation to contact them on 09096-31890.

Sometime between 2pm and 7pm on Sunday April 11 a grey Yamaha scooter parked outside an apartment block at An Sailin, Wellpark was extensively damaged.

Anyone who may have witnesses the damage being caused or anyone with any information who could help with this investigation is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
