West Ireland Bike Shop launches new website

To coincide with the long-awaited 2021 bike range, West Ireland Bike Shop has launched its new website westirelandbikeshop.ie

Customers can order a new bike and accessories online with nationwide delivery, free to Galway city.

The new website will build on the community bike shop in the West End of the city, beside Monroes pub, offering new bikes for sale, expert bike service and repair, and a bike rental service. With a wide range of new bikes to choose from, West Ireland Bike shop anticipates a very busy start to the summer season, as people embrace outdoor activities.

The business originally started as a bike shop on the university grounds in Galway by Jimmy Codd in the 1970s under the name Europa Cycles. Jimmy worked in the bike business well into his seventies in the early 2000s when he was joined by his nephew Liam Codd. Liam brought the business into the digital age and launched a cycling holiday website, bringing West Ireland Cycling into the modern era. The third and current generation of cycling enthusiasts, Liam’s niece Siobhan and her husband John run the shop with the help of two experienced mechanics, Matt K and Matt O.

Whether needing a new bike, a service or just advice, John or Matt are available to chat over the phone or via email (087-2056904/ [email protected] ).
