Construction vehicles damaged in Ballybane

A number of construction vehicles were damaged at a site in Rocklands Avenue, Ballybane, in the early hours of Monday last.

This incident occurred between 12 midnight and 7.30am on Monday. Several windows were broken on the vehicles — four diggers and a teleporter. Anyone who saw anybody interfering with any of these vehicles, or has any relevant information, is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.

Graffiti incident in Kinvara

Gardai are appealing for information on an incident in which the handball alley at Seamount College, Kinvara, was damaged by graffiti.

This occurred at some time between 1pm on Saturday June 27 and 3.30pm on Sunday June 28. A considerable amount of damage was caused. Anyone with information is asked to contact Garda James O'Meara at Kinvara Garda Station, phone 091 637102.

Burglary in Westside

A restaurant on Old Seamus Quirke Road, was broken into in the early hours of Monday.

The premises was burgled between 12.15am and 11am. Entry was gained via the rear of the property. Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area overnight on Monday is asked to contact Galway Garda Station at 091 538000.

Outboard engine stolen in Waterside

A Yamaha outboard engine was taken from the back of a boat at Galway Rowing Club, Waterside, last weekend.

This occurred between 7pm on Friday July 10 and 8.30pm on Monday July 13. Anyone who has been offered this engine for sale, or who witnessed anyone interfering with boats in the areas, is asked to contact Galway Garda Station at 091 538000.
