McNelis calls on families to donate unwanted instruments to clubs and schools

Arrangements can be made to collect in a safe fashion, observing all social distancing requirements

Every home has an unused guitar, tin whistle, tennis racket, or running machine, and a call has gone out for these to be donated to clubs, schools and individuals across the city and county.

Labour city councillor, and former mayor, Niall McNelis, is appealing to the public to donate such items to Share 2 Play, which is supported by sports organisations and musicians. It will see the equipment gathered made available to clubs and schools. Instrument repair is also available.

To donate, contact [email protected] or text 087 - 6197300. Arrangements can be made to collect in a safe fashion, observing all social distancing requirements.
