Fleabag at the Pálás for International Women's Day

See Phoebe Waller-Bridge perform the stage show that inspired the award-winning BBC sit-com

FLEABAG, THE one-woman show from the brilliant Phoebe Waller-Bridge that inspired the award-winning BBC sit-com, will be screened at the Pálás Cinema for International Women's Day.

International Women's Day is this Sunday, March 8, and at 4.30pm Fleabag, recorded live in London's West End will be screened. Written and performed by Waller-Bridge it is directed by Vicky Jones.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered, and self-obsessed, but when you realise her sister is emotionally uptight and angry; her brother in law is a horror and a sleazebag; her withdrawn father is in a relationship with a nasty, selfish artist; and Fealbag herself is still grieving for her friend, whose death she partially blames herself for, is it any wonder? She has a lot of minefields to navigate.

Rounding out the events of International Women's Day at the Pálás will be a screening of Radioactive followed by a satellite Q&A. Rosamund Pike’s latest role sees her as Marie Sklodowska-Curie, and follows the reverberations of her discoveries throughout the 20th century.

Tickets start from €12 and are available from the box office or palas.ie
