Maintaining mental wellbeing in an era of digital distraction

Galway Mental Health Association, in conjunction with Mental Health Ireland, welcomes Dr Colman Noctor to Galway on March 12 at 7.30pm in the Clayton Hotel.

Dr Noctor is a leading child and adolescent psychotherapist in St Patrick’s Adolescent Mental Health Service, and an assistant professor in Trinity College Dublin. He is the resident psychotherapist on RTE Radio One’s Ray D’Arcy Show and is author of the bestselling parenting book Cop On. He is also a regular contributor to the print and broadcast media.

Dr Noctor will be discussing some of the challenges parents face, particularly in relation to technology and family life, understanding children’s online worlds, internet safety, and maintaining wellbeing.

MC on the evening is Dr Malie Coyne, clinical psychologist, author, lecturer, and mental health consultant at A Lust For Life.
