Senator Frances Black, a member of the Seanad's Civil Engagement Group, who is supporting Sen Higgins for re-election to the NUI panel said: "Alice-Mary is a fantastic advocate for change, She worked tirelessly with me to progress the Occupied Territories Bill, and so many other issues of social justice and human rights. I urge NUI graduates to give her their No 1 vote and keep a vital, progressive, voice in the Seanad."
