Mayor welcomes Rosemary Avenue upgrade

Rosemary Avenue, off Eyre Square, has just been given a major upgrade with an imprinted asphalt road, limestone kerbing, and footpath paving.

The upgrade has been welcomed by the Mayor of Galway Pádraig Conneely. “I have to bite my tongue and admit that the Galway City Council did a good job on it...four years after I called for the work to be done,” he said. “A lot of people are commenting on the works and it is a job well done.”
