MUSIC AND songs from films like Star Wars, James Bond, Lord Of The Rings, and that masterpiece of homoeroticism, Top Gun, will be performed in Salthill by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
The concert, entitled Adventure Screen Classics, takes place in Leisureland on Saturday May 11 at 6pm, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra joined by conductor Stephen Bell, described by International Record Review as "one of the most gifted younger British conductors", and vocalist Louise Dearman, who has appeared in leading roles in West End productions of Wicked, Evita, and Guys and Dolls. There will also be music from Ben Hur and Pirates of the Caribbean.
