Castlegar NS is undergoing a major school extension with two classrooms, an office, a sensory room, and a car park scheduled for completion at the end of August. As part of the works the school has launched a fundraiser for its new astroturf facility due to open in September 2019.
It has been decided to run an astro bingo event to raise the balance of funds for this wonderful facility. A total of 1,300 tickets at €10 each have been printed, numbered 0001 to 1300, with each ticket representing a square of the proposed astroturf. On June 14 next the draw will take place with the four main prizes and several other spot prizes presented to the lucky winners.
