FORGET ANY notion of post-Patrick's Day blues, post-Bank Holiday blues, not when a line-up involving Damian Clark, Bob Hennigan, and Michael Downey are set to take to the stage of the Róisín Dubh.
Aussie comic Damian Clark is often resplendent in a peaky cap, while wearing a wry smile, but most importantly, he is very funny. His high-octane observational stand-up, with infectious energy and a childlike outlook, has had audiences around the world in hysterics. He is best known in Ireland for RTÉ's I Dare Ya and Republic Of Telly. He has also appeared on TV3's The Apprentice: You're Fired! as well as on BBC3 and Comedy Central.
Also on the bill is Mayoman and honorary Galwegian Bob Hennigan, a veteran of the Galway comedy scene and MC of the acclaimed Ireland’s Smallest Comedy Club. A past winner of the Tedfest Toilet Duck Award and 2015 Galway Comedy Award, The Irish Times has called him, "the most criminally underrated comedian in the country”.
Support is from Michael Downey, a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny? alongside Alan Carr, Russell Howard, Miles Joop, and John Bishop.
