Gearóid Farrelly set to tell some Home Truths

Joan Rivers approved comic to play the Town Hall Theatre

GEARÓID FARRELLY is a comedian praised by Chortle.co.uk for his "expressive storytelling and shrewd social commentary” and by The Irish Times for his "intelligent, reflective comedy”.

That comedic talent is set to shine again when he brings his new show, Home Truths, to the Town Hall Theatre studio on Thursday February 21 at 8.30pm. The show will address everything from Donald Trump to decluttering, and also explain why you should never toilet train a cat.

Gearóid has appeared at comedy festivals all over the world. He once played support to the late, great, Joan Rivers, who called him “the best opening act in his price range”; and supported leading British comic Sarah Millican and Ireland's Neil Delamere. He is a regular on Today FM's Sunday Best and hosts his own podcast, Fascinated. As Broadway Baby said: "To be an audience member in Farrelly’s crowd is a joy. Each joke landed perfectly…. impeccable comic timing.. ”

Tickets are available from the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
