Whether you are a jobseeker or considering upskilling, now’s the perfect time to take that plunge - if you’ve done your research. Why not speak with potential employers and career experts in person on February 16? From 10am - 4pm at the Galway Racecourse, more than 30 exhibitors will be recruiting for hundreds of jobs at the first Jobs Expo of 2019.

The largest sector hiring is MedTech, with industry leaders Aran Biomedical, Integer, Boston Scientific, Merit Medical, PPD, Johnson & Johnson’s Cerenovus, andTransition Optical in attendance.

If you have engineering and construction experience, Lotusworks, Kirby, and Tandem Project Management, are all looking for staff. Meanwhile, for the Aviation buffs, Eirtech, and International Aerospace Coatings, will be exhibiting side-by-side, as will JFC, who design and manufacture agricultural supplies.

Unsure what your next step is? Employment experts BCS Recruitment, Kelly Services, and Sigmar Recruitment will get your CV into the right hands.

There is a full schedule of seminars and a free on-site career clinic. If you’re in Tech, you can chat with the Genesys team about their customer experience platform.

Looking to retrain? Discuss your educational options with NUI Galway, Nightcourses, and eCollege. Also exhibiting are FIT, Coordinators of the National Tech Apprenticeships; Obair, LESN; RSA Insurance; and the Defence Forces.

For those with a case of wanderlust, International development and volunteering organisations VMM International and CCUSA are looking for enthusiastic people to work in locations around the globe.

No matter what your background, there’s something on offer at Jobs Expo. Register your place now for February 16. For details see www.jobsexpo.ie
