The Galway Technical Institute is now taking applications across a range of part-time courses starting in January 2019. All courses are designed to enable learners to study in their own time and pace, giving them practical skills and competencies in their chosen area.
GTI's experienced tutors tailor their courses specifically to the adult learner, creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The institute's state of the art facilities includes a beauty salon, a recording studio, woodworking workshops, and computer suites, which provide students with all the resources needed to maximise their learning experience.
GTI also has ample car parking facilities plus a canteen.
Its certified QQI, ITEC, and City & Guilds qualifications provide a means to access, progress, and/or transfer to a wide variety of courses and progression routes to employment. These qualifications are recognised both nationally and internationally. Areas of study include health, beauty, art, crafts, fitness, sport, healthcare, childcare, IT and media. General interest and hobby courses such as yoga, wood-turning, art, languages, dressmaking, nutrition, interior design, and creative writing offer students an opportunity to explore or further enhance an area of interest.
