SEAN KEANE'S annual Christmas By The Hearth concert returns to the Town Hall Theatre next week, where the much acclaimed Caherlistrane singer will be accompanied by the Mayo Concert Orchestra.
The orchestra is joining Sean in order to recreate the sound of his most recent album, Gratitude, which he recorded with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. Seán will also be joined by Pat Coyne, Fergus Feely, David Doocey, and Stephen Doherty. Among the songs he will perform will be 'Somewhere' written by Iggy and Johnny Broderick and Seán ,and 'You Take Me There' by Brendan Graham and Denis Carey, as well as 'Oh Holy Night' and 'Silent Night'.
Christmas By The Hearth is on Friday December 7 and Saturday 8 at 8pm. Tickets are available from the Town Hall (091 - 5697777, www.tht.ie ).
