"EXCEPT FOR the point, the still point, there would be no dance and there is only the dance." This line, from TS Eliot's Four Quartets, is the inspiration behind a new exhibition in Kinvara.

Colours Of Stillness, featuring work by artists Fiona Rooney and Julia O’Keefe, opens tomorrow at The Courthouse, Kinvara, at 8pm. The work of both artists explores the dance mentioned in Eliot's poem, engaging with the complexities of colour, and waiting for the moment of stillness. Rooney and O’Keeffe participated in the art and design degree at the Centre for Creative Arts, GMIT, and as students both were selected for exhibition at the RDS Student Art Awards.

Colours of Stillness is open daily, from 11am to 8pm. All are welcome. The exhibition runs until Sunday July 29. See
