Barna woman to represent Luxembourg in Tralee

Barna woman Amber Crean will be one of those flying the Galway flag in Tralee this summer when she will represent her adopted workplace as the Luxembourg Rose.

An active member in the GAA (Ladies Gaelic coach and two time player of the year ) community in Luxembourg, Ms Crean has been in Luxembourg working as a financial auditor for the accountancy firm EY, since September 2014.

The new Luxembourg Rose is also a qualified resuce scuba diver and emergency first responder.

In her speech, she spoke about her love for the multiculturalism of Luxembourg and how she looked forward to represneting the duchy in Tralee this August.

Her father Alan, aunt Mary, her sister Ali, and boyfriend Robert O’Dolan from Salthill led her support at the final in Luxembourg on Saturday night.

The event was also attended by the Irish ambassador to Luxembourg.
