Cedar Bar and Restaurant at the Athlone Springs Hotel is the perfect place to dine with family and friends this winter.
Cedar Bar offers a cosy venue to relax on a winter’s afternoon and has a wide selection of hot drinks, cocktails, and fantastic food served daily. Fancy a hot chocolate or a gourmet coffee by the fire anyone?
The hotel’s head chef Trevor Donegan has prepared a new festive menu with lots of choice for all the family. Warm up with his creamy smoked haddock and potato chowder or treat yourself to his traditional beer-battered fish and chips and to top it all off enjoy his banana and mixed nut brownie. “It’s all about fresh ingredients sourced as locally as possible”, according to Trevor.
“All of our food is homemade on site and the team and I strive to offer the very best culinary experience to our guests,” says Trevor. The hotel has lots of special offers running at the moment. Enjoy main courses from only €9.95 per person and the Sunday carvery is always a popular option.
Trevor has also written a weekly recipe column for the Athlone Advertiser and is available any time to answer any of your culinary questions.
