As you might expect, there are both sporting events on the screen and singers in the bar this weekend at The Snug Bar.

For an early weekend session, join renowned local musicians Jock and Dave on Thursday, July 23 when they play a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes from the old classics to the current chart toppers.

Friday showcases Strung Out, a three-piece acoustic band from Galway who play a unique blend of exceptional covers. This versatile and talented band always delivers an intriguing and hugely entertaining performance. Music lovers are in for a real treat.

Saturday sporting action features Westmeath v Fermanagh live on Sky Sports at 5pm. Music comes in the form of The Late Greats, an energetic duo from Mullingar, playing a wide range of material. Their set list spans six decades of great music with a variety of hits that will satisfy all tastes. Their exceptional vocal harmonies always receive great appreciation from the crowd. This band never fails to create a great night at The Snug Bar. DJ J Dawg will set the mood in the beer garden.

Snug Sunday kicks off with All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship coverage including Galway v Cork at 4pm. The Dave L Show delivers the music entertainment at 7pm. Dave has a wide variety of songs covering several decades and always delivers a crowd-pleasing performance. Dave is followed by Reigning Day at 9pm. Chason and Declan from Castlerea are no strangers to The Snug Bar and have gained a reputation for creating a great lively pub atmosphere which will have everyone joining in with the craic.
