Grovelands Childcare is calling on children who attended their centre at the IDA Business Park in 2003, as well as throughout the past 10 years, to join them for a tree lighting ceremony and festive reunion on Tuesday December 3 at 4.30pm.

Mayor of Athlone, Gabrielle McFadden will be in attendance to officially turn on the lights on the Grovelands Childcare tree of light to celebrate the centre’s 10th birthday.

“From mince pies to fairy lights to reindeer dust this will be a very special birthday party with past-pupils treated as guests of honour,” said Regina Bushell, managing director of Grovelands. “Parents can enjoy mulled wine and everyone is invited to sing carols to kick off the festive season. The tree of light will be decorated with beautiful decorations designed and created by Grovelands Childcare pupils. We hope as many of our past pupils as possible can attend - we will have great fun!”
