To mark the launch of their new and improved Studio 2 the world renowned Grouse Lodge residential recording studio will open up to the public this Saturday August 17 from 11am-4pm. Situated in Rosemount at the heart of County Westmeath, Grouse Lodge has played host to many world famous artists including Snowpatrol, The Stereophonics, Michael Jackson, and The Manic Street Preachers.
The Grouse Lodge team invites bands, recording engineers, and producers from all over the country to come along to sample the state-of-the-art facilities on offer. Staff from the Sound Training Centre will also be on hand to talk about careers in the music industry and the many courses available in sound engineering and music technology, festival management, live sound and lighting, abelton live, DJ and production, and electronic production.
Recent artists who have recorded in Grouse Lodge include Simple Minds, Paulo Nuitini, and Mundy. International artists such Lars Winniback from Scandinavia and the U2 of Turkey - Duman have spent some time recording there in recent months.
There will be some fantastic course discounts and introductory Studio 1 and Studio 2 offers available on the day for summer studio sessions with something to suit every budget and all types of recording projects.
