With the Carlton Hotel Group a major sponsor of the International Rose of Tralee Festival, the Carlton Shearwater Hotel and C Spa, Ballinasloe had the pleasure last week of hosting a Rose Reunion for previous winners of the Rose of Tralee.

Fourteen Rose winners came to the Ballinasloe hotel to celebrate the night, which they like to call a ‘sisterhood’ reunion. Roses from 1961 to the present day joined together for a candlelit dinner in the Marina Restaurant where the catch-up began as Roses discussed what the festival means to each of them.

The Carlton Shearwater Hotel also teamed up with previous Rose winner Muirne Hurley and Portumna Rugby Club to host a fashion show, children’s Haka, and goal scoring competition. Photos of the Roses taking part can be viewed on the Carlton Facebook page.

The Roses relaxed as they were treated to amazing treatments in the Heather and Earth C Spa the following morning.
