Local performers Amie Stone and Des Egan have been approached by a music producer from Las Vegas. The singers have been asked to perform at a hotel in the American city.
Speaking to the Advertiser Des said, “We are over the moon to be asked to do some shows in Las Vegas. The music producer was on holidays in Westport with his family when he saw the band play. After the show he asked if myself and Amie would play a spot in a hotel venue with Barry Manelow, we were amazed.”
Des has played with some well known names including Roger Whiitaker, Paul Brady, and Ray Lynam, whihle Amie Stone’s family has roots in music.
The duo play in the Greville Arms, Mullingar every Thursday night, and have also taken up residence in Fergies, Tullamore every Friday night.
