Citroen Motors Ireland has announced price details for the high spec DS3 DSport THP 150 which is now available for €23,900.
The punchy performance of the DS3’s top-of-the-range THP 150 engine offers a thrilling driving experience with a finely-tuned sporty feel. And with CO2 emissions of 155 g/km the DS3 DSport THP 150 falls in Band C of the Vehicle Road Tax (€302 per annum ).
Combining luxury touches with sporty styling, DSport models feature chrome side rubbing strips, a rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light, a chrome double exhaust pipe, drilled aluminium pedals and 17” black diamond-tipped alloys.
The ‘Connect Signature’ pack, which includes Bluetooth, USB socket and the eight-speaker hi-fi system is standard specification, as is automatic digital air-conditioning.
For the month of August Citroen Motors Ireland will offer customers ordering a DS3 DStyle model the Connect Signature option pack – Bluetooth system with USB socket and hi-fi system for just €1 (normal retail price €490 ).
This popular option pack enables you to make calls safely and easily through the Bluetooth hands free kit whilst the Connecting Box for your MP3 or USB stick means your music library can go where you go. The upgraded hi-fi system will keep the most demanding music-lover happy.
Citroen’s DS3 R3 set for Ulster shakedown
Meanwhile Citroen will also unleash the new DS3 R3 for its first competitive event at the forthcoming Ulster Rally (August 20-21 ), piloted by Citroen Racing development team driver Bryan Bouffier and co-driver Xavier Pansieri.
The model has been developed by the five-time FIA World Rally Constructor Championship winners Citroen Racing, who have applied their knowledge and expertise from nine years of competition at the pinnacle of the sport through some of the world’s toughest terrains.
Comprising the same features, structural design and appearance as the road-going production model, DS3 R3 is available in kit and ready-to-race versions and promises to deliver performance whilst still remaining affordable for customers.
