Excellence Through People helps organisations improve performance and achieve business goals through their employees. It is the only quality standard dedicated to the role of people and their impact on business. The performance of any organisation ultimately depends on the competence, commitment and consistency of its people. The Excellence Through People Standard offers a model of best practice for the management of human resources particularly in the areas of training, development, participation, involvement and communications. Its purpose is to encourage organisations to strive for excellence and to show recognition for achieving high standards. Excellence Through People was designed in response to requirements from business to maximise their investment in human resources. The standard is used by many of Ireland's most progressive and successful organisations to become more efficient, productive, flexible, competitive, and innovative.

The event, which promises to be a very informative and engaging one, is open to all, and will be of particular interest to business managers, HR professionals, and students during these challenging times.
