The American Drifters return to Ballinasloe

The fabulous American Drifters sold every seat in the house on their last visit, so get your tickets early for this magical show!

The boys hit the Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe, on Saturday August 8. The Drifters were formed in 1953 in down town New York. They were the most successful black vocal harmony group of all time, and the magic of The Drifters is still there for all to see - the perfect act to put you in the mood for the holiday season.

With over 50 hits, selling in excess of 214 million singles and 114 million albums across the world, Gilly Leroy Jones, Lewis J Jackson, Jimmy Hamilton Junior, and Jazz Cherry have been coming to Ireland for years now and have built up a faithful following for their show.

So whatever your favourite tune is, the boys will belt it out on the night and you can be sure you will be treated to a truly entertaining evening of electrifying hits spanning some 35 years.

‘Saturday Night at The Movies’, ‘Under The Boardwalk’, ‘Save The Last Dance For Me’, and ‘Up On The Roof’ are just some of them, and you can expect many more great songs with a summer flavour, especially for The Drifters’ Irish fans.
