Volkswagen tells us that the new all-electric ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo are now open for order with prices starting from €41,538 (excluding VAT and with the grant of €3,800 applied and also excluding delivery ) for the ID. Buzz Cargo variant and €65,890 (including VAT but excluding delivery ) for ID. Buzz (passenger variant ).

It adds that customers can now price and build orders for the all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo with the customer online configurator now live on their website.

The ID. Buzz Cargo is available in six trim levels: ‘Cargo', 'Cargo Comfort', 'Cargo Business', 'Cargo Executive', 'Cargo Tech' and 'Cargo Max’ Meanwhile, the ID. Buzz is available to purchase in a range of trim levels: ‘Life', ‘Family', ‘Tech' and ‘Max'.

The ID. Buzz is Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ first all-electric vehicle and features a 77kWh lithium-ion battery, supplying 150kW (204 PS ) to a rear-mounted electric motor that develops 310Nm of torque and Volkswagen says that it is capable of an all-electric driving range of up to 400 - 420 Kilometres (WLTP ).

The entry-level ID. Buzz Cargo comes with cruise control, dual sliding doors and parking sensors (front & rear ) as standard.

The ID. Buzz (passenger version ) entry-level Life offers LED headlights, heated windscreen, the Buzz box removable storage, Discover Pro navigation and infotainment with 10” colour touchscreen, and wireless charging.

The App Connect is standard along with a multi-function steering wheel for comfort.

Volkswagen boasts that sustainability is also an integral part the new ID. Buzz, from design, to manufacturing, to the road. The interior features recycled synthetic material and leather-free, in addition to the all-electric powertrain.

The ID. Buzz is manufactured using sustainable components: battery housings and wheel rims are made from green aluminium and tyres from low-emission production.
