Ireland’s premier party band, The LOLS, have just been added to the Kilbeggan race card in a bank holiday special this Sunday May 31.
The LOLS will perform a two-hour show that, in the words of one fan, “doesn’t just entertain fans – it hijacks them”.
The four lads from Moate, Co Westmeath are currently lighting up the Irish music scene with their unique mix of infectious riffs and catchy, upbeat tunes – and they are now taking bookings for their 2009 party diary.
The band will travel anywhere in Ireland to play their music, and are confident that they will bring any night to life with their energy and talent. Their success to date has been phenomenal and the reaction from their live gigs has overwhelmed the band members.
Last year’s debut single ‘I’ll take my time’ built up a large following, after a high-octane launch in their home town of Moate, and reviews for the song saw them attract new fans to their gigs.
For their show, The LOLS intersperse their own work with covers of songs from The Killers, Kings of Leon, Razorlight, The Saw Doctors, The Commitments, Snow Patrol, and various forms of trad music.
The LOLs are totally committed to their music and their live performances. Their action-packed two-hour show will leave their fans looking for more.
