A stand out competition on the annual fixtures calendar at Athlone Golf Club on the shores of Lough Ree, the Captain’s Prize took place in recent times on the pristine fairways and greens of the Hodson Bay course.
Club members were in competitive mode as they strived to attain the prized possession, Claire Dowling achieving the accolade in the Ladies competition, while Leo Flynn garnered success in the Gent’s event.
