Exciting month of entertainment awaits at Tuar Ard

An exciting month of entertainment awaits at the Tuar Ard Arts Centre in Moate this March.

It is a wonderful time for comic theatre with two great upcoming productions that will banish any winter blues! Local favourites, Rahan Drama Group, return with their ninth production 'Second Confession' from March 13-15 - a three-act comedy with a plot revolving around the McCarthy family and their relationships past and present.

On Friday, March 27, Laois Open Door Theatre present 'Move Over Mrs Markham' for their twentieth anniversary, a spicy, saucy comedy which exposes complications which arise when different sets of lovers all converge on the bedroom of the Markham’s supposedly empty flat!

Tuar Ard Film Club screens 'The Peanut Butter Falcon' on Tuesday, March 24, and the hugely popular 'The Baby Shark Show' comes to entertain children on Saturday, March 28.

For musical entertainment, Robert Mizzell returns with his Nashville Song Book Tour on Tuesday, March 31, and on Thursday, March 19, T.R. Dallas, John Hogan, and a host of other performers will host a night of celebration in music and song in aid of the Moate Scór Groups and Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park.

Bookings for all events can be made through their website, www.tuarard.ie, in person at the box office in Moate, or by ringing their Box Office on 09064 82042.
