People of the Tribes : Meet Alexandra.

I'm originally from Poland. I first came to Galway just to save money and go back after 1 year but I fell in love with the city. I'm now living in Galway nearly 11 years now with a beautiful 4-year-old boy. I worked in childcare for years and recently some friends of mine decided to set up a new business in the heart of Eyre Square. They asked me to join the team! A new adventure, it is very exciting and time to try something different. The owners Monika and Dan sent me to Kraków to study natural products which is great because I love everything to do with organic or natural food and cosmetics. Galway to me is a wonderful place. There is something here for everyone. Shop street on a good day or bad day is amazing because of all the music one can hear. Great restaurants and night life too!

Just paces away from the best eating houses in Galway, this pleasant restaurant is one of the city's least known but most authentic Italian restaurants. A Sardinian style neighbourhood restaurant with dark wood tables and chairs and the typically open kitchen with busy chef on view, Mona Lisa Café & Restaurant is situated in the heart of Galway’s West End right across the road from the Crane Bar and Massimo.
