The 35th edition of the Galway Film Fleadh came to an end at the weekend after another outstanding year. With sold out screenings across the festival programme, the Fleadh featured 95 feature films and 102 short films featuring the best of Irish and World cinema.

With new Irish cinema, award winning world cinema, short films, panels, discussions, and masterclasses, the 35th edition of the Galway Film Festival will bring powerful, moving, funny and provocative storytelling from both emerging and renowned filmmakers to Galway for the 35th edition of the Galway Film Fleadh.

Galway Film Fleadh will stage three World Premieres and three Irish Premieres from the 35th edition of the film festival taking place from 11 – 16 July in the Town Hall Theatre and Pálás Cinema. Irish Film Talent is to the fore of programming at the Fleadh alongside World Cinema, award winning Documentaries and Irish and International Short Films. Audiences can look forward to powerful, moving, funny and provocative storytelling from both emerging and renowned filmmakers.

The Centre for Adult Learning and Professional Development at NUI Galway offers a series of 8-week, non-accredited courses in a number of different subject areas including Archaeology, Writing, World Cinema, History, Art History, Languages, Health & Well Being, Literature & Poetry, Philosophy, Science, News Media, Ancient Greece and Rome, Genealogy and many others.
