The Peugeot 5008, a new compact people carrier will be launched in Ireland in early 2010, reintroducing the 5-series back into the Peugeot range. The seven seat MPV shares the famous “5” series name with the legendary Peugeot 504 and the Peugeot 505 Family estate, the great family favourites.

Mazda all-new Mazda3 5-door hatchback is being launch this week at the Bologna Motor Show. The second generation Mazda3 5-door hatchback follows rapidly on the heels of the new 4-door saloon version, displayed at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Ford Ka has a higher specification and an entry price of €11,535 ex-works for the Style 1.2 (69 bhp) 3-door. Ford points out that that is some €800 below that of the outgoing model. The saving comes despite a high level of specification, in tune with the Ka’s promise of fun, fashionable motoring. The entry level new Ka diesel engined Style 1.3 TDCi (75 bhp), 3-door sells at €13,320 ex-works.
