After attracting huge crowds at this summer’s Electric Picnic, Traditional Irish music band The Wolfe Tones have announced a show in Galway Airport as part of the Galway Summer Sessions on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Derek Warfield, writer of the hit song Celtic Symphony, will take to the stage at The Venue Athlone, alongside the Young Wolfe Tones, for a special live performance on Saturday, July 1.

For over 50 years Derek Warfield has been one of Ireland’s best known ballad singers and now he has teamed up with the new generation to bring an old tradition with a young sound to his legion of fans.
