Galway Sea Scouts represent Ireland at Dutch National Sea Scout Festival

Like ‘Disneyland for Sea Scouts’ is how one of our Sea Scouts described Nawaka, the National Water Camp they attended in Zeewolde, Netherlands. Held every running years and running for 10 days, the Sea Scout festival is one of the largest of its kind and this year, Port of Galway Sea Scouts returned with 27 scouts and eight leaders to represent Ireland at the event.

Loveen travels over land & sea to meet up with 7,000 scouts in the Netherlands.

Along with 40 Galway Sea Scouts, their leaders and families she will travel via road and ferry to represent Irish traditional nautical heritage at NaWaKa, the Scout International National Water Kamp that's held every 4 years in the Netherlands with over 7,000 participants from all over the world.
