New car registrations down in first quarter

The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) has issued the SIMI Quarterly Motor Industry Review Q1 2018.

Number of new registrations are down as industry gears up for 181

Official statistics from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI ) show that new car registrations for the month of November were down nine per cent (687) when compared to November 2016 (754) , with new car registrations this year to date down ten per cent (131,200) on the same period last year (146,215).

New car registrations down ten per cent in first six months

Official statistics released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) have shown that new car registrations for the month of June, were down -14 per cent (1,397) when compared to (1,623) June 2016. Consequently and as expected, new cars registrations year to date are down -10 per cent (91,189) on the same period last year (101,327).
