Coffee containers, banana, copper wire, and electrical wire were some of the materials Westmeath students made use of to impress the judges at the national Junk Kouture final last Friday. TY students from Moate Community College presented their action project to raise environmental awareness and make a positive contribution to their local community, to judges at ECO-UNESCO’s Young Environmentalist Awards, Leinster ECO-Den last week.
